It had 6 shops. Closing in Meridian, Idaho coffee chain shrinks to one
An Idaho coffee brand with years of history in the Boise area will have one shop left soon — and a trailer.
Lucky Perk Coffee, 1630 S. Eagle Road in Meridian, will close after pouring its final cup May 15. Known as the Silverstone location because of its proximity to Silverstone Amenity Center, the spacious shop will spend its final days “offering a variety of specials to show our sincere appreciation and gratitude for our wonderful customers,” Lucky Perk wrote on Facebook.
The last Lucky Perk Coffee shop will remain open at 1551 W. Cherry Lane in Meridian. It is rated 4.5 out of 5.0 stars on Google.
“It is with heavy hearts after 22 years we announce the closure of our Lucky Perk Silverstone,” Lucky Perk posted online, explaining that “... the new owner of the building has different plans in mind for this location, and we have to say goodbye.”
Marketing itself as “an Idaho original,” Lucky Perk launched in 2013 as a rebranding of six Moxie Java coffee locations.
In addition to the Cherry Lane store, there’s also a Lucky Perk still in Mountain Home. But it’s no longer a shop. Earlier this year, Lucky Perk exited the building at 390 American Legion Blvd. and shifted operations to a trailer at Railroad Park.
In recent years, Lucky Perk also shuttered at 3327 N. Eagle Road in Meridian, where Fiiz Drinks now has a store.
