‘Insane’: This singer did one of the largest shows in Idaho Center history. He’s back
Five days after the Nampa City Council lifted event capacity limits during pandemic-stricken 2021, the Ford Idaho Center made a major concert announcement.
Dierks Bentley was coming. And it would be epic. Unhindered by pandemic restrictions, the country singer drew one of the largest crowds in Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater history. The drop count — or number of bodies through the gate — was 10,216. At the time, it was the outdoor venue’s third biggest attendance ever. “Insane,” as the promoter put it afterward.
Now Bentley can try to top his prior mark. He will bring his Gravel & Gold Tour to the same grassy spot on Thursday, Aug. 10. Tickets to the 7 p.m. concert go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday for $39.50 to $119.50 through fordidahocenter.com. Jordan Davis will open.
Known for hits such as “Somewhere on a Beach,” “Drunk on a Plane” and “I Hold On,” Bentley is just one of several significant shows announced in recent days in the Boise area.
Here’s the latest update. Note: Ticket information does not include presales. (There are just way too many nowadays.) And prices do not include fees. (Like, ditto.)
