FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Completed 12-of-26 passes for 113 yards, ran for a team-high 24 yards and caught a 5-yard touchdown in a 41-6 loss to Rigby in the 6A state championship.

Jared Thiel, Bishop Kelly: Grabbed his state-leading 11th interception, blocked a field goal, and forced and recovered a fumble in a 31-14 victory over Hillcrest for the 5A state title.

Alec Campos, Homedale: Hauled in eight passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns in a 29-21 win against Kimberly for the 4A state championship.

Ian Johnson, Nampa Christian: Ran for 154 yards and two TDs on 16 carries in a 36-30 overtime victory over Ririe for the 3A state title.

Gage George, Tri-Valley: Caught three passes for 38 yards and three TDs in a 40-20 loss to Carey in the 1A state championship game. He also ran for 31 yards on 10 carries.
