FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Completed 10-of-16 passes for 116 yards and two TDs, grabbed an interception on defense and created another one with a tipped ball in a 23-17 win over Coeur d’Alene in the 6A state semifinals.
Drake Peterson, Rocky Mountain: Made 22 tackles in a 40-21 loss to Rigby in the 6A state semifinals.
Dom Wolthuis, Bishop Kelly: Hauled in seven catches for 115 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-20 victory over Skyline in the 5A state semifinals.
Xavier Uranga, Homedale: Finished 13-for-19 for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-20 win over Sugar-Salem in the 4A state semifinals.
Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Ran for 75 yards and three TDs, and went 14-for-30 for 255 yards through the air in a 28-21 loss to Kimberly in the 4A state semifinals.
Pete Dice, Nampa Christian: Completed 13-of-18 passes for 256 yards and three TDs in a 20-8 win over West Side in the 3A state semifinals.
Jace Waggoner, Tri-Valley: Racked up 325 yards of offense and six total touchdowns in a 78-54 win over Wallace in the 1A state semifinals. He also grabbed an interception, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and recovered an onside kick.
Owen Hatfield, Council: Ran for 122 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries in a 32-26 loss to Carey in the 1A state semifinals.
