FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jack Brant, Timberline: Completed 16-of-29 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 89 yards and three more scores in a 35-33 victory over Eagle for the first league title in program history.

Henry Nelson, Mountain View: Finished 17-for-19 for 240 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-0 victory against Meridian. His only two incompletions came when he threw the ball away.

Ryan Lewis, Middleton: Racked up 16 tackles, had one sack and blocked a game-winning field goal with 32 seconds left in a 23-21 win over Owyhee.

Zander Grow, Capital: Turned 16 carries into 112 yards and three touchdowns in a 50-14 victory over Boise that clinched the Eagles a playoff berth.

Trevan Plew, Skyview: Completed 19-of-30 passes for 191 yards and three TDs in a 30-23 upset of Ridgevue.

Jackson Cheslak, Columbia: Ran for 160 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries as the Wildcats clinched the third playoff berth in program history with a 42-13 win against Canyon Ridge.

Zion Perrault, Caldwell: Ran for 136 yards and three touchdowns as the Cougars snapped a 20-game losing streak with a 20-8 win over Parma. He also completed 6-of-15 passes for 50 yards.

Kade Hall, Homedale: Ran for 109 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries in a 70-26 win over Cole Valley Christian.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Threw for 298 yards and five touchdowns, and grabbed an interception on defense in a 52-27 win over McCall-Donnelly to finish a perfect regular season.

Ty Cobb, Weiser: Ran for 125 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries in a 50-13 victory over Payette.

Colt Value, McCall-Donnelly: Turned 37 carries into 234 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-27 loss to Fruitland. He also made nine tackles on defense.

Ian Johnson, Nampa Christian: Returned an interception for a touchdown, and ran for 104 yards and two TDs on 10 carries in a 53-7 win over New Plymouth for the 3A WIC title.
