FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rasean Jones, Rocky Mountain: Turned 15 total touches into 347 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns in a 55-49 victory against Capital.

Quincey Clay, Capital: Racked up 335 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in a 55-49 loss to Rocky Mountain.

Ryan Brekke, Owyhee: Ran for 135 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and turned four catches into 27 yards and another score in a 26-16 win vs. Borah. He also made three tackles on defense.

Austin Ramsey, Eagle: Threw for 265 yards and five touchdowns while completing 16-of-22 passes in a 49-17 win over Boise.

Gavin Mortensen, Middleton: Made 26 tackles and added a sack and a tackle-for-loss in a 44-0 win over Centennial.

Kian Foy, Mountain View: Hauled in six passes for 100 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win at Kuna.

Cam Johnson, Ridgevue: Made 10 tackles, caught a 22-yard touchdown pass, then returned an interception for a touchdown on the next play from scrimmage in a 23-21 victory against Columbia.

Trevan Plew, Skyview: Racked up eight total touchdowns, including the game-winning throw with 5 seconds left, to beat Emmett 53-46. He finished 13-for-19 for 235 yards and four TDs through the air, and he ran for 106 yards and four more scores on 17 carries.

Ben Avella, Bishop Kelly: Completed 20-of-27 passes for 218 yards and four TDs in a 55-27 win at Nampa.

Shane Osuna, Vallivue: Went 4-for-5 for 114 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-6 win over Caldwell.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Threw for 355 yards and four touchdowns in a 50-23 rout of Nampa Christian, completing 14-of-24 passes.

Gunnar Newman, McCall-Donnelly: Finished with 363 total yards and four touchdowns to lead the Vandals to a 48-6 win over Grangeville.
