FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dallas Konzek, Kuna: Ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns in his first varsity start at running back, leading the Kavemen to a 45-37 win over Timberline in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Tyler Robinson, Middleton: Kicked field goals of 27 and 43 yards to lead the Vikings to a 6-3 win over defending state champ Highland in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Jack Brant, Timberline: Completed 30-of-55 passes for 414 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-37 loss to Kuna in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Tylan Kaschmitter, Bishop Kelly: Turned 14 carries into 92 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-3 win over Pocatello in the first round of the 5A state playoffs.

Onix Carson, Vallivue: Ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in a 28-6 win over Bonneville in the 5A state playoffs.

Spencer Tracy, Fruitland: Caught five passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-13 rout of Teton in the first round of the 4A state playoffs.

Trevor Corn, Garden Valley: Turned 18 offensive touches into 154 total yards and two TDs in a 32-8 win over Shoshone in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.

Stuart Derrick, Cascade: Went 5-for-7 for 105 yards and one touchdown through the air, and ran for 138 yards and three more TDs in a 28-20 win at Deary in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.

Jace Waggoner, Tri-Valley: Ran for 207 yards and three TDs, and completed 4-of-8 passes for 100 yards and two more touchdowns in a 42-20 win over North Gem in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.
