FOOTBALL

Noah Burnham, Eagle: Ran for 186 yards, two touchdowns and the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime to clinch the Mustangs the 5A SIC title with a 22-21 win over Meridian.

Cole Holman, Middleton: Ran for 140 yards and two TDs, and made 11 tackles on defense in a 28-19 win over Borah to send the Vikings to the 5A state playoffs.

Peter Minnaert, Bishop Kelly: Ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns as the Knights clinched the 4A SIC title with a 36-7 win vs. Skyview.

Zack Schledewitz, Rocky Mountain: Ran for 110 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in a 35-6 win against Kuna that clinched the Grizzlies a playoff berth.

Henry Nelson, Mountain View: Went 13-for-23 for 205 yards and three TDs as the Mavericks clinched a playoff bid with a 37-21 win against Capital.

Dillon Fine, Homedale: Threw for 182 yards and three TDs, and ran for 104 yards and another score in a 34-7 win at McCall-Donnelly that clinched the Trojans their sixth straight league title.

Darrien Pecunia, Payette: Went 11-for-19 for 11 yards and two TDs, and ran for 99 yards and two more scores in a 54-32 win against Parma.

Dahlton Bingham, Council: Racked up 147 yards of offense and three TDs, added a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown and had six tackles and an interception on defense in a 39-12 win over Salmon River.

Tyler Thurston, Cascade: Went 13-for-14 for 262 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for 47 yards and three more scores in a 54-46 win vs. Horseshoe Bend. He also had eight tackles on defense.
