5A All-Idaho football team: The state’s top players from its toughest classification

Note: The All-Idaho teams are chosen by a vote of the state’s coaches. The Idaho Statesman hosts the vote and publishes the results.

5A ALL-IDAHO PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Luke Flowers, Rigby

The 6-1, 170-pound junior had big shoes to fill, stepping in for previous All-Idaho Player of the Year Tiger Aldopho. But he exceeded expectations, completing 71% of his passes for 3,009 yards with 32 TDs and just seven INTs. Arizona has offered the QB who led the Trojans to a repeat title.

“Luke is the complete package,” Rocky Mountain coach Chris Culig said. “Good arm strength, accurate, mobile. But more importantly, he finds ways to win.”
