BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Logan Haustveit, Owyhee: Averaged 17 points, 3.5 rebounds, two assists and five steals to lead the Storm back to the championship game of the 6A District Three tournament.
Tobin Knudson, Centennial: Averaged 25 points, five rebounds and 1.5 assists to clinch the Patriots a state tournament berth and a spot in the 6A District Three tournament championship game.
Sammy Kahn, Meridian: Hit 6-of-11 3-pointers to score 20 points in a 64-49 win over Timberline in the first round of the 6A District Three tournament.
Manny Chabuka, Kuna: Recorded a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds while adding three assists in a 54-51 win over Mountain View in an elimination game at the 6A District Three tournament.
Lincoln Erickson, Columbia: Drained 10-of-16 3-pointers to pour in 30 points in an 84-47 win over Nampa.
Mark Yenor, Ambrose: Averaged 20 points and 19 rebounds in three games at the 3A District Three tournament to help keep the Archers’ state tournament dreams alive.
Nathan Compas, Parma: Averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, four assists and four steals to lead the Panthers to the championship game of the 3A District Three tournament.
Logan Ellis, North Star Charter: Scored 20 points and added seven rebounds in a 65-38 win to clinch the Huskies a state tournament berth and a spot in the 2A District Three tournament championship game.
Derrick Huter, Notus: Recorded 27 points, five assists and eight steals in a 60-56 win over Victory Charter in the first round of the 2A District Three tournament.
Will Coburn, Garden Valley: Racked up 29 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in a first-round win over Greenleaf at the 1A District Three tournament.
