BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Emmanuel Chabuka, Kuna: Averaged 25.5 points and 12.5 rebounds to lead the Kavemen to wins over Nevada’s CIVICA Academy and Arbor View at the Tarkanian Classic.

Kaden Rogers, Owyhee: Averaged 8.5 points and six rebounds to lead the Storm to a runner-up finish at the Iolani Classic in Hawaii. He held a top 100 national recruit to 6-for-22 shooting in a 10-point win over nationally ranked Harvard-Westlake.

Cooper Patterson, Mountain View: Recorded a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 7-for-11 from the floor and adding two assists in a 76-51 win over Canyon Ridge.

Collin Morris, Timberline: Erupted for 28 points on 9-for-12 shooting, including 5-for-8 behind the 3-point line, while adding eight rebounds in a 54-49 win against Madison.

Henry Johnson, Centennial: Averaged 10.7 points, nine rebounds, four assists and 1.7 steals to lead the Patriots to wins over Madison, Rigby and Mead, Colorado.

Luke Soltau, Boise: Stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 75-66 win over Eagle.

Bantayehu Knudsen, Nampa Christian: Averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals to split matchups with New Plymouth and Declo.

Nathan Compas, Parma: Averaged 19.3 points, seven rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.5 steals to lead the Panthers to a 3-1 record last week.

Hays Black, Rimrock: Averaged 18.5 points, seven rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals in wins over Hansen and Richfield.

Jonny Lungu, Notus: Sank 10-of-16 shots to put up 23 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 66-34 win against Riverstone.
