BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Tobin Knudson, Centennial: Averaged 20.3 points, 3.3 steals and 2.3 assists as the Patriots started the season 3-0 with wins over Skyview, Minico and Canyon Ridge.

Jackson Edwards, Kuna: Scored 25 points and added six rebounds in a 63-53, nonconference win over Eagle.

Max Keller, Columbia: Sank 5-of-6 3-pointers for 25 points, and added three assists and three blocks in a 76-61 win over Ridgevue.

Madden Compton, Cole Valley Christian: Averaged 14 points per game while shooting 60% behind the 3-point line and 53% from the field as the Chargers split matchups against Ambrose and Capital.

Nathan Compas, Parma: Averaged 32.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 4.3 steals while shooting 49% from the field.

Mark Beliy, Victory Charter: Averaged 30.5 points and 9 rebounds while shooting 69% from the floor in the Vipers’ first two games.

Hays Black, Rimrock: Averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2.6 steals in season-opening wins over Camas County and Castleford.

Jake Miller, Greenleaf: Averaged 16.7 points, 4.7 assists and 5 steals to lead the Grizzlies to a 3-0 start to the season.

Caleb Cudaback, Notus: Dropped 30 points on Vision Charter in an 84-70 victory, and finished the week averaging 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.5 steals.

Emerson Bava, Riverstone: Posted a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds while blocking two shots in a 45-31 win against Wilder.
