BOYS BASKETBALL
Ryan Baker, Meridian: Scored 19.7 points per game while shooting 18-for-32 (56%) from the floor to lead the Warriors on an underdog run to the second-place trophy at the 5A state tournament.
Logan Haustveit, Mountain View: Led the Mavericks to the 5A third-place trophy by hitting a game-winning runner with 1.4 seconds left in the first round and averaging 14.7 points per game.
Liam Campbell, Owyhee: Averaged 18.3 points and four rebounds as the Storm captured the 5A state consolation trophy.
Luke Barinaga, Fruitland: Averaged 15.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and two assists to lead the Grizzlies to the 3A state consolation title.
Cache Beus, Melba: Led the Mustangs to a second-place finish by averaging 12 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 15-for-23 (65%) from the floor at the 2A state tournament.
Ben Beglinger, Cole Valley Christian: Averaged 11 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 12-for-23 (52%) from the floor as the Chargers captured the 2A consolation trophy.
Porter McLinn, Council: Scored 20.7 points and added seven rebounds per game to lead the Lumberjacks to the 1A Division II state consolation trophy.
