You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Logan Haustveit, Mountain View: The freshman had 20 points, four assists and two steals in a win vs. Nampa, and then he added 28 points and four assists, including on the game-winner, in an upset of conference favorite Owyhee.

Braden Volkers, Melba: Racked up 30 points, five rebounds, four assists and five steals in a win vs. North Star Charter, then had 23 points, two rebounds and three assists in a win at New Plymouth.

Landon White, Eagle: Posted a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds in a 62-55 win at Boise.

Peyton Johnson, Parma: Averaged 27.5 points to lead the Panthers to wins over Filer and Nyssa, Oregon.

Lincoln Mathis, Ambrose: Erupted for 36 points and 11 rebounds in a 63-48 win vs. Compass Charter.

Liam Campbell, Owyhee: Had 16 points and 15 rebounds in a 62-46 victory over Middleton.

Jachin Mertes, Timberline: Racked up 22 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in a 60-45 win vs. Kuna.

Heath Jarboe, New Plymouth: Posted a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 51-47 win at New Plymouth.

Ryan Baker, Meridian: Averaged 17.5 points and 4.5 rebounds to lead the Warriors to wins over Timberline and Rocky Mountain.

Luke Barinaga, Fruitland: Poured in 22 points and added five rebounds in a 77-45 victory at Weiser.
