GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ava Shaw, Parma: Shot 8-for-13 from the 3-point line and totaled 28 points with five rebounds, one assist and one steal in the Panthers’ 59-37 win over Nampa Christian.
Kiet Martinez, Meridian: Averaged 23.0 points in three games last week, including a career-high 30 in a win over Ridgevue, while surpassing 1,000 career points.
Annelise Curran, Ambrose: Contributed 23 points, eight steals, seven assists and five rebounds in a win against Nampa Christian, then dropped 31 points with six assists, six rebounds and four steals in a win over Marsing.
Ava Miler, Gem State: Totaled 25 points, including going 5-for-7 from 3-point range, with 11 steals and six rebounds against Centennial Baptist, and then added nine points, six rebounds and four steals against North Star Charter.
Quincy Keller, Mountain View: Posted a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds with six assists and five steals in a win over Meridian, then totaled 30 points, six rebounds, five steals and one assist in a win over Owyhee.
Rylee Walters, Salmon River: Sank 7-of-10 from 3-point range and totaled 36 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in a win over Council. She then had 23 points in a victory against Horseshoe Bend.
Raelynn Nickel, Vision Charter: Led the Vipers to a 53-20 win over Riverstone with 34 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and five assists.
Trinity Holsinger, Eagle: Led the Mustangs to a key 6A SIC win over Timberline with 21 points, two assists, one rebound and one steal.
Tiana Sorenson, Homedale: Tallied 21 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal to lead the Trojans to a 38-32 victory over Payette.
Libby Nelson, Boise: Recorded 21 points, six assists, five rebounds, five steals and one blocked shot to lead the Brave to a 62-28 win over Centennial.
