GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mckenna Chavez, Capital: The Eagles went 2-1 on the week, including wins over Ridgevue and Centennial, as their junior forward averaged 14 points, eight rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
Natalie Goslin, Emmett: Led the Huskies to 5A SIC wins over Nampa, Caldwell and Columbia by averaging a double-double of 17.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
Mary Behrend, Bishop Kelly: The Knights defeated Caldwell, Columbia and Parma as their senior guard contributed 12.3 points, six rebounds and three steals per game.
Aleksi Drollinger, Fruitland: The senior point guard flirted with a triple-double in a 66-48 win over Payette, contributing 24 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four assists. She also had 17 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Cole Valley Christian.
Kya Davis, Borah: In a 46-21 win over Kuna in 6A SIC action, Davis notched a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds to go with two assists.
Kaity Haan, Boise: The Brave earned 6A SIC wins over Centennial and Borah, with Haan earning a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with five steals and two assists against the Patriots.
Kaidance Kaiser, Parma: Helped the Panthers go 2-1 on the week, including collecting 21 points, 15 steals and four rebounds in a 57-15 rout of Marsing.
Sophia Deasy, Compass Charter: The Pilots dominated Gem State 56-5 as Deasy racked up 17 points, 11 steals, five rebounds and three assists.
Aubrie Parrish, Vision Charter: The Golden Eagles topped Compass Charter 52-41, with Parrish pulling down 27 rebounds to go with 19 points.
Porter Wood, Eagle: The Mustangs defeated Meridian 76-29 in 6A SIC action as Wood amassed 19 points, eight rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists.
