Idaho high school girls basketball rankings: One classification gets a new No. 1
Two teams entered the Idaho high school girls basketball state media poll for the first time in Week 2, while one classification saw a change at the top.
Raft River leapfrogged Prairie for the No. 1 spot in the 2A classification, while South Fremont (4A) and Firth (3A) each made their debut in the top 5.
Owyhee (6A), Timberlake (4A) and Malad (3A) were all unanimous No. 1 picks.
Seven teams from Southwest Idaho ranked in their classification’s top 5.
