GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kaity Haan, Boise: Averaged a double-double on the week with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Mountain Home and 14 points and nine rebounds in a close loss to Eagle.
Tamar Callender, Caldwell: In wins over Ontario (OR), Nampa and Wood River, Calendar averaged nine points, nine rebounds and five steals per game.
Brooke Hutchinson, Bishop Kelly: In a 62-42 victory over Emmett, the senior guard contributed 24 points, including going 7-for-13 from 3-point range, with six rebounds and four assists.
Amelia Alexander, Ambrose: In three games last week, the freshman averaged 18 points and seven rebounds per game, including a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Nampa Christian.
Addy Bayne, Columbia: Averaged a double-double of 23.5 points and 11.0 rebounds to go with 3.0 blocked shots in the Wildcats’ wins over Vallivue and Skyview.
Emma Bratvold, Ridgevue: Averaged 16.5 points per game to help the Warhawks defeat Minico and Meridian last week.
Tariah Carter, Melba: Notched a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds as the Mustangs defeated Nampa Christian 54-32.
Rylie Calkins, Parma: Scored nearly half of the Panthers’ points in a 60-34 victory over Marsing with 29 points to go with six rebounds.
Hailey Hove, Garden Valley: Posted a game-leading 28 points as the Wolverines took down Idaho City 62-34.
Riley Beck, Owyhee: Had a well-rounded game with 17 points, four rebounds, two steals and one assist as the Storm defeated Meridian 66-37.
