GIRLS BASKETBALL

Avery Howell, Boise: Pushed the Brave’s win streak to 14 games with 28 points on 9-for-11 shooting, plus 10 rebounds and four steals in a win over Mountain View. She then had 25 points, including a 5-for-10 performance from deep, with 17 rebounds and six steals in a win over Rocky Mountain.

Natalie Goslin, Emmett: Led the Huskies to a pair of wins in 4A SIC action, scoring 22 points with nine rebounds against Skyview, and contributing 20 points and five rebounds against Caldwell.

Zoey Blackwell, Middleton: Helped the Vikings fight back from a 14-point deficit to defeat Borah in 5A SIC play with 20 points, eight steals, five rebounds and four assists.

Emma Barton, Tri-Valley: Helped the Titans defeat Garden Valley in 1A Division II Long Pin action with 20 points, eight steals and five rebounds.

Angel Gutierrez, Vision Charter: Posted a triple-double of 30 points, 16 steals and 10 rebounds as the Golden Eagles defeated Gem State in 1A Division I Western Idaho Conference play.

Rylee Walters, Salmon River: Led the Savages in scoring in two games last week, averaging 18.5 points per game in a win over Highland (Craigmont) and a loss to Tri-Valley.

Jada Ojukwu, Centennial: Had the majority of the Patriots’ points in a 50-39 loss to Kuna, scoring 29 points.

Myra Martinez, Ridgevue: Helped the Warhawks to a pair of 4A SIC wins, contributing 10 points and four steals against Columbia, and 16 points and four steals against Skyview.

Rylie Calkins, Parma: Led the Panthers to a dominant 3A SRV victory over Payette with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Tariah Carter, Melba: Collected 20 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists in a 2A Western Idaho Conference win over Ambrose.
