GIRLS BASKETBALL

Rylie Calkins, Parma: Led the Panthers to wins over Cole Valley Christian and Sugar-Salem. She had 26 points, eight rebounds and four blocks against the Chargers, and then a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds to go with five steals and five blocks against Sugar-Salem.

Avery Howell, Boise: Dropped 23 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in a win over Centennial, and then notched a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds to go with five assists in a victory against Eagle.

Rhianna Iveson, Council: Helped the Lumberjacks edge Tri-Valley 62-60 with 25 points, five rebounds and four steals.

Hadley Fraas, Cole Valley Christian: Scored 26 points, including two free throws with 2.7 seconds left, to lift the Chargers over Melba 55-52 in a 2A WIC rivalry game.

Emmi Swillie, Timberline: Recorded a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds along with four steals to help the Wolves earn their first 5A SIC win of the season, beating Kuna 51-47.

Paige Cofer, Eagle: Stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in a win over Post Falls. She then had 18 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in a victory against Timberline.

Rylee Walters, Salmon River: Led the Savages in scoring with 16 points in a win over St. John Bosco and 14 points in a victory against Horseshoe Bend.

Elsie Wyatt, Middleton: Contributed 20 points, six rebounds and three assists in a win over Mountain View. She then had 14 points and three steals in a victory against Owyhee.

Brooklynn Dayley, Melba: Totaled 18 points, seven steals and six assists in a win over Marsing, and added 26 points, four assists and four rebounds in a loss to Cole Valley Christian.

Nancy Ramirez, Wilder: Scored nearly half of the Wildcats’ points in a 38-19 win over Horseshoe Bend with 18 points.
