You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Avery Howell, Boise: Led the Brave to back-to-back 5A District Three titles with 24 points, 14 rebounds and two steals in a 49-47 win vs. Rocky Mountain in the championship game.

Caroline Knothe, Bishop Kelly: Racked up 16 points, six rebounds and two steals to lead the Knights to their first district title since 2018 with a 46-28 win over Columbia.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Had 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 54-44 win against Cole Valley Christian in the 2A District Three Tournament championship game.

Josie Davis, Owyhee: Posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists to clinch the Storm a 5A state tournament berth in a 56-40 win vs. Eagle.

Emmi Swillie, Timberline: Fell one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds in a 48-41 win over Mountain View that sent the defending champs back to the 5A state tournament.

Paige Cofer, Eagle: Scored 10 points and added seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 48-39 upset of Lake City to clinch the Mustangs a 5A state tournament berth.

Gracie Castillo, Garden Valley: Finished with 20 points and six rebounds in a 60-41 win vs. Cascade that sent the Wolverines to the 1A Division II state tournament.
