You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Selena Chaves, Caldwell: Averaged a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds, and averaged six steals as the Cougars split with New Plymouth and Mountain Home.

Avery Howell, Boise: Averaged 15.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.3 steals and three assists as the Brave swept Timberline, Borah and Capital.

Shae Olsen, Greenleaf: Poured in 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 39-35, season-opening win vs. Garden Valley.

Riley Beck, Owyhee: Averaged 8.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.3 blocks as the Storm swept Rocky Mountain, Eagle and Emmett.

Zoey Blackwell, Middleton: Scored 27 points in a 55-49 win vs. Eagle.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Posted a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 59-36 victory over Columbia.

Rylie Calkins, Parma: Scored 20 points each in wins over Ambrose and Grangeville.

Jennabelle Reece, Liberty Charter: Racked up 19 points, 12 rebounds, six steals and two blocks in a 37-26 win at Glenns Ferry.

Cate Perrigo, Ambrose: Sank a game-winning, 15-foot jumper with 5 seconds left and scored 17 points in a 59-58 win at Lighthouse Christian.

Demi Thompson, Mountain View: Averaged 21.5 points to lead the Mavericks to wins over Skyview and Centennial.
