IDAHO 4A BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Titus Vidlak
Fruitland, jr., SS
Already a two-time all-state selection, the 4A football player of the year adds another honor to his burgeoning list. The 4.0 student and leadoff hitter carried the Grizzlies to a runner-up finish at state, hitting .506 with an all-class-leading 44 stolen bases.

Darren Uranga
Homedale
After finishing third in the SRV and needing a regional at-large berth, he led the Trojans (25-7) to their first state title since 1999.

Tate Whitworth
Marsh Valley, sr., SS/P
The two-way force led all divisions in hits (66) with 4A’s best on-base (.688) and OPS (1.534). He was also 8-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 82 Ks.
Porter Higley
Buhl, sr., P/CF
The all-class leader in strikeouts (98) and strikeout rate (15.5 per 7 innings) finished 5-1 with a 1.72 ERA. He also hit .507 with 17 RBIs.
Luke Nelson
Teton, sr., P/SS
The CSI commit went 7-0 on the bump with a 1.53 ERA and 96 Ks in 50 innings. He hit .476, led 4A in slugging (.857) and stole 19 bases.
Jayden Grosdidier
Fruitland, sr., P/CF
After missing his junior year, he bounced back to go 10-0 in a loaded league while posting 1.11 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 56 ⅔ innings.
Carson Fine
Homedale, sr., CF
The Columbia Basin commit hit for average (.455), power (.714) and was a terror on the basepaths, going 18-for-18 on stolen base attempts.
Lukas Hall
Homedale, sr., P/RF
He served as the state champs’ ace, finishing 8-1 with a 2.15 ERA. He also hit .344, including .563 during regionals and state.
Jordan Hammond
South Fremont, sr., SS/P
The four-year starter posted a .506 batting average with 42 runs scored, 35 stolen bases in 36 attempts, and a 4-2 record on the mound.
Brett Paxton
Filer, jr., P/CF
The lefty dominated on the mound, going 4-1 with a 2.29 ERA. He also led 4A in RBIs (34) while hitting .457 and slugging .728.
Mason Taylor
Homedale, so., P/LF
A midseason injury limited his innings, but not his production. He finished 6-0 with a 1.47 ERA in 33 ⅓ innings while hitting .400.
Carson Kile
Cole Valley Christian, jr., SS/P
A repeat first-team pick, he held hitters to a .177 average while going 3-3 with a 2.33 ERA. The play-making shortstop also hit .303.
Nate Grosvenor
Fruitland, sr., 1B/P
He moved up from last year’s second team after hitting .347 with 24 RBIs and 29 stolen bases. He also went 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA.
