Idaho 3A baseball regional tournament: Scores, brackets and updated results

Get the latest scores, matchups and updated bracket from the Idaho 3A regional baseball playoffs below. We will update the bracket as results roll in.

Twelve teams enter the next round on the road to state. They will compete in four separate three-team tournaments. The winner of each double-elimination tournament advances to state.

SEEDS FOR 3A REGIONAL TEAMS

For the second year, 12 teams will battle in four three-team tournaments to determine who goes to state.

Champions from four of the five districts will host the tournaments. But seeds and first-round byes are determined by the final MaxPreps.com rankings.

Seeds are listed below. The same seeds will be used for the state tournament.

  • 1. Malad (20-4) -- District 4-5 champ
  • 2. Orofino (19-3) -- District 1-2 champ
  • 3. Melba (21-2) -- District 3 champ
  • 4. Salmon (20-4) -- District 6 champ
  • 5. Priest River (14-5) -- District 1-2 runner-up
  • 6. Firth (13-9) -- At-large berth
  • 7. Declo (14-8) -- At-large berth
  • 8. Nampa Christian (12-10) -- At-large berth
  • 9. Wendell (14-11) -- District 4-5 runner-up
  • 10. North Fremont (11-10) -- District 6 runner-up
  • 11. New Plymouth (12-14) -- District 3 runner-up
  • 12. Lighthouse Christian (12-7) -- At-large berth

FIRST FOUR TEAMS OUT

  • 13. Parma (9-16)
  • 14. St. Maries (5-13)
  • 15. Marsing (8-14)
  • 16. Soda Springs (6-12)
