BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cam Lenius, Middleton: Threw a complete-game, five-hit shutout and struck out five in a 1-0 victory over Centennial.
Seth Dallolio, Timberline: Earned a complete-game victory in a 4-1 win over Ridgevue, holding the Warhawks to an unearned run on three hits with three strikeouts.
Brody Newbery, Boise: Went 6-for-13 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, three RBIs and four stolen bases in three games.
Zac Ricks, Eagle: Threw a five-inning, two-hit shutout and struck out 12 in a 12-0 win at Meridian.
Andre Weathers, Rocky Mountain: Tossed a five-inning, one-hit shutout and struck out nine in a 15-0 win over Timberline.
Nate Rolland, Emmett: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out eight in a 10-0 win over Caldwell.
Jayden Grosdidier, Fruitland: Tossed a two-hit shutout and struck out eight in a 5-0 win over Payette. He also went 3-for-9 with two doubles last week.
Cooper Brooks, Melba: Struck out 17 in a seven-inning, four-hit shutout and went 6-for-9 with a double, a home run and eight RBIs.
Bradin Padgett, New Plymouth: Recorded a win, a save and six strikeouts in six innings on the mound. He also went 3-for-10 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Jace Irwin, North Star Charter: Went 8-for-8 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs in wins over Idaho City and Gem State.
