FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rasean Jones, Rocky Mountain: Ran for 129 yards on seven carries, caught a 6-yard touchdown pass and added an interception on defense in a 30-3 victory vs. Middleton.

Austin Ramsey, Eagle: Racked up five total touchdowns in a 34-8 win over Kuna to clinch the 6A SIC River Division title. He completed 7-of-14 passes for 122 yards and two TDs, and ran for 74 yards and three more scores.

Quincey Clay, Capital: Ran for 168 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries in a 43-42 win over Meridian. He also caught four passes for 45 yards.

Nash O’Kelley, Timberline: Made 12 tackles and caught four passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-7 win at Centennial.

Henry Nelson, Mountain View: Completed 14-of-18 passes for 221 yards and four touchdowns in a 63-6 rout of Borah.

Jackson Cheslak, Columbia: Ran for 256 yards and five touchdowns on 29 carries, leading the Wildcats to a 50-34 win over Skyview to complete their first sweep of Nampa School District opponents in program history.

Jaxson Brady, Bishop Kelly: Racked up 185 total yards and two touchdowns on six offensive touches in a 37-21 victory against Vallivue to clinch the Knights a playoff berth.

Hunter Schmittel, Ridgevue: Went 21-for-28 for 209 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Nampa.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Completed 7-of-14 passes for 225 yards and three TDs, and ran for another 130 yards and a score in a 43-21 win over Homedale.

Garret Walker, Weiser: Only needed five offensive touches to put up 149 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-6 win against Cole Valley Christian.

Ian Johnson, Nampa Christian: Ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries, leading the Trojans to a 46-0 win over Parma.

Blake Shepherd, Salmon River: Completed 13-of-20 passes for 237 yards and five touchdowns in a 52-50 victory over Garden Valley.
