VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Alera Gibson, Columbia: In two 5A Southern Idaho Conference matches, Gibson collected 37 kills, 30 digs, five blocks and three service aces.

Devyn Johnson, Cascade: In a pair of 1A Long Pin matches, Johnson went 8-for-8 serving with 15 digs, three kills and a 75% serve-receive accuracy.

Ali Hansen, Bishop Kelly: The Knights defeated Nampa and Vallivue in three sets as Hansen finished with a .361% hitting percentage with 16 kills, five blocks and three service aces.

Olivia Sangsland, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies went unbeaten at the Rocky Invitational Tournament as Sangsland racked up 85 assists, 35 digs and 11 service aces.

Kennedy Dunn, Boise: The Brave went undefeated at the Rocky Invitational Tournament as Dunn tallied 54 kills and 76 digs.

Sofia Pattee, Riverstone: The Otters took down Idaho City 25-22, 20-25, 17-25, 25-23, 17-15 in a 2A WIC match as Pattee contributed 15 kills, 10 service aces, four digs and one block.

Natalie Escutia, Wilder: The Wildcats held off North Star Charter 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23 as Escutia amassed 25 digs, 16 kills, four blocks and four service aces.

Lily Merservier, Timberline: The Wolves defeated Kuna and Borah in 6A SIC action, with Merservier contributing 30 kills, seven digs and four service aces.
