VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Aveyah Flores, Liberty Charter: In a 25-19, 21-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-7 2A WIC matchup against Wilder, Flores racked up 20 kills, 17 digs, two aces and two blocks.
Cami Salinas, Columbia: In 5A SIC matches against Nampa and Bishop Kelly, Salinas collected 31 digs, 30 kills, six service aces and three blocks.
Addie Hull, Cascade: In a 25-20, 21-25, 15-25, 25-15, 15-12 loss to Greenleaf, Hull paced the Ramblers with eight kills, one block and a 16-for-18 serving performance.
Piper Kushlan, Homedale: The Trojans went 2-1 on the week as the junior outside hitter tallied 54 kills, 23 digs and seven service aces.
Charli Russell, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies took down Borah, Centennial and Ridgevue as Russell contributed 25 kills and five blocks.
Mary Irwin, Owyhee: The Storm competed at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Arizona, with Irwin totaling 172 assists, 64 digs, 17 kills, 15 blocks and eight aces.
Peyton Phillips, Compass Charter: The Aviators went 2-1 on the week as their libero tallied 49 digs, five aces, a 90% serve-receive percentage and an 83% reception percentage.
McKenna Satterfield, Timberline: In 6A SIC wins over Boise and Mountain View, Satterfield racked up 105 assists and 11 digs.
Daniela Alfonso, Vallivue: The Falcons defeated Caldwell 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-15 as Alfonso had a well-rounded match with 13 kills, nine digs, three aces, two blocks and one assist.
Kamryn Newbery, Boise: The Brave lost to Timberline in five and beat Meridian in four as Newbery recorded 48 assists, 17 digs, five kills and one block.
