3A BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Kaden Mullins
Nampa Christian, sr., P/SS
The NNU commit led the Trojans to a second-place finish at state on the mound and at the plate. He went 8-2 with a 3A-leading 1.04 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 60 ⅓ innings, holding opposing hitters to a .153 average. He also hit .494 with 29 RBIs and 17 stolen bases.

Malad
The Dragons (25-6) started the postseason as the No. 5 seed, but Snow led them to a second state title in three years as the underdog.
ALL-STATE FIRST TEAM
Aiden Olive
Orofino, sr., CF/P
A repeat first-team selection, the 6-foot-4 righthander hit .429 with 37 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. He also went 5-3 with a 4.13 ERA.
David Goicoa
Grangeville, sr., SS/P
The two-way weapon hit .488 with a 3A-leading eight home runs and all-class best 55 RBIs. He also went 5-4 with a 1.52 ERA and 97 strikeouts.
Luke Steinmeyer
Marsing, sr., C/P
The College of Idaho football and baseball commit led all classes with 16 doubles, hitting .500 with 49 RBIs while stealing 26 bases.
Carter Blaisdell
Malad, sr., SS/P
He came up clutch for the state champs over and over again, posting a .435 batting average while driving in 38 runs and stealing 20 bases.
Brady Showell
Malad, sr., P/3B
The all-class leader in innings (75 ⅓) and complete games (11), he painted the corners to go 8-4 with a 2.04 ERA and 101 strikeouts.
Brycen Howe
Malad, sr., P/1B
He teamed with Showell to form a potent one-two punch on the mound, going 8-0 with a 1.46 ERA, 78 strikeouts and eight complete games.
Darrell Vasquez
Firth, sr., SS/P
A three-time all-state selection, he capped his career with another prolific season, hitting .412 with 39 runs scored, 32 RBIs and 27 stolen bases.
Jace Chadez
Marsing, sr., P/SS
He led the Huskies to a third-place state trophy, going 7-2 with a 1.91 ERA while hitting .435, scoring 41 runs and stealing 23 bases.
Jack Ihli
Nampa Christian, sr., 2B/P
The Trojans’ Swiss Army knife, he led 3A with five saves, posting a 2.00 ERA in 28 innings. The leadoff hitter also hit .330 and stole 15 bases.
Julian Ponce
Wendell, sr., UTIL
The Columbia Basin CC commit hit .434 with seven home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 stolen bases. He also went 2-2 with a 2.97 ERA with 66 strikeouts.
Jaeger Tondevold
Orofino, jr., SS/P
The slick-fielding switch hitter took extra bases at will, stealing 29 bags and scoring a 3A-best 48 runs. He also hit .440 with 31 RBIs.
