GIRLS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Quincy Keller, Mountain View: Won four golds at the 6A state meet, placing first in the 100 (11.84), 200 (24.45), 4x100 (47.83) and 4x200 (1:40.38). She also set an overall record in the 200 prelims in 23.97 as the Mavericks won the team championship.
Emme Hamm, Rocky Mountain: Collected four first-place finishes at the 6A state meet, winning the 800 (2:11.71), 1,600 (4:49.65), 4x400 (3:58.50) and 4x800 (9:17.31).
Makenzie Baisch, Eagle: Polished off her senior year with victories in the 100 hurdles (14.60) and 300 hurdles (43.86) at the 6A state meet. Both times were career bests.
Avery Reece, Nampa Christian: Won four events at the 3A state meet, placing first in the 100 (12.44), 200 (25.39), 100 hurdles (15.57) and long jump (17-6.5).
Megan Atkinson, Parma: Qualified for the 3A state meet in four events, winning the 400 (58.79), 800 (2:15.99) and medley relay (1:51.58) while also taking fourth in the 4x400 relay.
Alyssa Hust, Victory Charter: Won the 3,200 at the 2A state meet in a school-record time of 11:30.09, becoming the first Viper female to win an individual title in program history. She also placed third in the 1,600 (5:25.44, school record).
Paisley Taylor, Meridian: Placed first in the 3,200 (10:46.21), second in the 1,600 (4:50.50), fourth in the 800 (2:14.97) and sixth in the 4x400 relay (4:05.12) at the 6A state meet.
Eden Francis, Capital: Qualified for the 6A state meet in four events, winning the long jump (17-11), placing second in the 4x100 relay (48.07), taking third in the 100 hurdles (15.00) and fifth in the javelin (105-2).
Isla Anderson, Skyview: Finished first in the 400 in a career-best 57.60 at the 5A state meet, while also taking third in the 4x400 relay (4:08.88), fourth in the 4x200 relay (1:47.02) and fourth in the 200 (26.28).
Olyvia Denison, Payette: Won the triple jump at the 4A state meet in a career-best and classification record 38-2 while also placing fourth in the long jump (18-1) and seventh in the high jump (4-10).

BOYS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Nate Stadtlander, Meridian: Took home gold medals in the 800 (1:52.92) and 1,600 (4:09.39) at the 6A state meet. He also added a runner-up finish in the 3,200 (9:07.58) and was part of the Warriors’ fifth-place 4x400 relay (3:22.06).
Nick Janecko, Timberline: Was a part of the Wolves’ winning 4x400 relay (3:18.62) that set an overall meet record and ran on their first-place 4x800 relay (7:43.06). He also placed second in the 800 (1:53.56) at the 6A state meet.
Timothy Price, Rocky Mountain: Was a standout in the jumping events at the 6A state meet, placing first in the triple jump (46-1), third in the high jump (6-4) and fourth in the long jump (21-7).
Kenyon Carter, Emmett: Qualified for the 5A state meet in three events and came home with three gold medals, winning the 110 hurdles (14.11), 300 hurdles (38.05) and 4x100 relay (42.22).
Isaac Edwards, Bishop Kelly: Won the 1,600 (4:19.38), 4x400 relay (3:23.55) and medley relay (3:30.00) and added a runner-up finish in the 800 (1:56.12) at the 5A state meet.
Kelvin Obot, Fruitland: Swept the shot put (54-3.25) and discus (155-0) at the 4A state meet, setting career bests in both events.
Ian Johnson, Nampa Christian: Earned victories in the 400 (49.03), 300 hurdles (38.81), 4x200 relay (1:29.49) and 4x400 relay (3:24.49) at the 3A state meet. Both relays set classification records.
Chase Klahr, Parma: Finished off his senior year with state titles in the shot put (54-0.75) and discus (168-6) at the 3A state meet.
Ethan Minegar, Cole Valley Christian: Qualified for the 4A state meet in four events, running a leg on the Chargers’ winning 4x100 (42.41) and 4x200 (1:28.85) relays while also placing second in the 200 (22.45) and fifth in the 100 (11.31). Both relays set classification records.
Ammon Hammer, Columbia: The freshman made his 5A state meet debut with a victory in the pole vault, clearing a career-best 15-0 to win the event by 1 foot over second place Van Lee of Sandpoint.
