SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Katy Jackson, Mountain View: Went 3-0 inside the circle, posting a 1.56 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 18 innings. She topped 350 career strikeouts during the week and went 3-for-9 with two home runs and five RBIs.

Ashlyn Graklanoff, Timberline: Went 8-for-10 with a double, two home runs, 11 RBIs and five stolen bases to lead the Wolves to a 3-0 week.

Bailey Shankland, Centennial: Went 6-for-14 with two doubles and four RBIs while also playing an error-free three games at shortstop and third base.

Grace Brooks, Owyhee: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 12 in a 12-0 win over Ridgevue. She also went 6-for-9 at the plate with two doubles, three home runs and seven RBIs.

Olivia Watt, Bishop Kelly: Went 8-for-12 with three RBIs, stole six bases in six attempts, and scored nine runs in three games.

Makayla Lytle, Skyview: Ripped a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to power the Hawks to a 5-4 win over Bishop Kelly. She finished the week 9-for-12 with three doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs.

Ali Knowles, Vallivue: Went 10-for-16 with four doubles, a triple, a home run and eight RBIs in four games.

Ellie Shirts, Weiser: Hit a walk-off single to lead the Wolverines to a 7-6 win over Cole Valley Christian. She went 5-for-8 with a double, a triple and four RBIs in two games.

Brooklyn Roadenbaugh, Marsing: Struck out 46 in 21 innings, going 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA. She struck out at least 15 batters in all three games.

Gabriella Gillette, Garden Valley: Went 10-for-11 with a double, three triples, a home run and 12 RBIs in three victories.
