GIRLS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Christine Huckins, Capital: Remained undefeated this season in the 100 and 200, setting personal-bests and state-leading times of 11.61 and 23.58, respectively. She also helped the Eagles win the 4x100 relay (47.30) and 4x400 relay (4:03.06) at the Legends Twilight Invitational in Walla Walla.
Hallie Heemeyer, Rocky Mountain: Posted the fastest 1,600 time in the state this season in 4:48.31, good enough for fifth at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays in Oregon.
Breanna Martin, Middleton: Remained unbeaten in the pole vault this season, clearing a personal-best 12-3 to win the Bandanna Invite at Mountain View High School.
Josie Davis, Owyhee: Placed in the top five in all four of her events at the Legends Twilight Invitational in Walla Walla. She was second in the high jump (5-2), third in the triple jump (37-8), fifth in the long jump (17-5) and fifth in the 100 hurdles (15.80).
Aubri Minnick, Kuna: Won the 100 (12.76), 200 (25.63) and ran a leg on the Kavemen’s winning 4x100 relay (49.71) at the Tiger/Grizz Invitational.
Hayden Higgins, Melba: Swept the 200 (26.74) and 400 (59.61), earned a runner-up finish in the 100 (12.95) and took 10th in the long jump (15-7) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High School.
Ella Smith, Fruitland: Placed first in the 1,600 (5:41.36) and 3,200 (12:03.00) at the Amy Christofferson Invite at Homedale High School.
Quincy Keller, Mountain View: Earned first-place finishes in the 100 (11.99), 200 (24.45), 4x100 relay (48.30) and 4x200 relay (1:41.98) at the 28-team Bandanna Invite at Mountain View High School.
Nadja Burkholder, Timberline: Swept the long jump (16-8.5) and triple jump (36-5.5) at the 28-team Bandanna Invite at Mountain View High School.
Isla Anderson, Skyview: Won the 400 (58.76), took second in the 200 (26.28) and was a part of the Hawks’ runner-up 4x200 (1:47.23) and 4x400 (4:25.10) relay teams at the 11-team Skyview Invitational.

BOYS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Myles Johnson-Nicholson, Kuna: Earned four first-place finishes at the Tiger/Grizz Invitational, winning the 100 (11.04), 200 (21.86), 4x200 relay (1:27.53) and 4x400 relay (3:24.54).
Ethan Kirkendall, Timberline: Clocked the No. 1 time in the state this season in the 400 with a time of 48.61 in the prelims at the Bandanna Invitational at Mountain View High School.
Nate Stadtlander, Meridian: Recorded a personal-best and state-leading time of 4:06.14 in the 1,600, good enough for fourth at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays in Oregon.
Tegon Lords, Nampa: Became just the second Idaho hurdler this season to break the 14-second barrier in the 110 hurdles, clocking a time of 13.95 to win the event at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays in Oregon.
Wade Pollock, Owyhee: Won the 300 hurdles at the Legends Twilight Invitational in Walla Walla in 38.45, setting school and meet records. He also placed second in the 110 hurdles (14.83) and anchored the Storm’s 4x400 relay (3:23.09) to a third-place finish as Owyhee won the boys team title.
Joseph Miraya, Mountain View: Continued his dominance of the throwing events this season, winning the discus in a state-leading and personal-best 191-4 and claiming the shot put (62-5.5) at the Bandanna Invitational at Mountain View High School.
Ambrose Brainard, Eagle: Cleared a personal-best 6-7 to win the high jump at the Bandanna Invitational at Mountain View High School. It is the second-best mark in the state this season.
Timothy Price, Rocky Mountain: Became the first Idaho triple jumper to surpass 47-0 this season, recording a personal-best and state-leading 47-7.75 to win the Bandanna Invitational at Mountain View High School.
Kenyon Carter, Emmett: Swept the 110 hurdles (14.23) and 300 hurdles (39.22) at the 28-team Bandanna Invitational at Mountain View High School.
Seth Weller, McCall-Donnelly: Won the javelin with a personal-best throw of 156-5 at a quad-meet with Capital, Rocky Mountain and Eagle. The mark ranks No. 4 in the state this season.
