SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Brooke Austin, Mountain View: Cranked three home runs in a 13-3 win over Centennial. She finished the week 4-for-8 with six RBIs.

Peyton Bargen, Eagle: Threw a five-inning, one-hit shutout vs. Rocky Mountain, then added a five-inning, two-hit shutout against Meridian. She also went 6-for-10 with two home runs and five RBIs in three wins.

Grace Brooks, Owyhee: Didn’t allow a run, gave up five hits and struck out 12 in nine combined innings vs. Mountain View and Capital. She also went 4-for-6 with two doubles and two RBIs in three wins.

Amber Harwood, Kuna: Went 6-for-9 with a double, a home run and three RBIs in three games.

Cali Moorhouse, Centennial: Went 11-for-14 with three doubles, five home runs and 12 RBIs in four games.

Reese Naylor, Borah: Went 8-for-15 with three doubles and eight RBIs in three games.

Bella Pereira, Timberline: Went 8-for-11 with a double and two RBIs in three games.

Kenadi Whitlow, Middleton: Went 8-for-11 with two doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs in four victories.

Lauren Colson, Cole Valley Christian: Went 11-for-15 with six home runs and 12 RBIs in four victories.

Maddison Dibben, Vision Charter: Went 9-for-14 with three doubles, a triple, two home runs and seven RBIs in four games.

Peyton Shook, Nampa Christian: Went 8-for-12 with a double, three home runs and nine RBIs in three games.

Cierra Norris, Notus: Went 8-for-10 with two doubles, a triple, six RBIs and four stolen bases in wins over Idaho City and Wilder.
