Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.
SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tayelynn Puyleart, Mountain View: Went 8-for-14 with four doubles, a triple, a home run and four RBIs in four games.
Cali Moorhouse, Centennial: Ripped a walk-off, solo home run in a 14-13 win over Highland, highlighting a 10-for-13 week with three doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs.
Justice Pruitt, Borah: Pitched four scoreless innings in a 12-1 win over Caldwell, limiting the Cougars to five hits while striking out four.
Danica Quinn, Rocky Mountain: Hit five home runs in five games, finishing the week 9-for-18 with three doubles and 13 RBIs.
Delaney Wright, Timberline: Struck out 16 in a complete-game victory, holding Mountain View to one unearned run on four hits.
Hailey Brennan, Owyhee: Threw a five-inning complete game, striking out 12 and giving up one earned run on two hits in a 13-2 win vs. Cole Valley Christian. She also went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and three RBIs in the same game.
Shyanne Reid, Meridian: Went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 10-7 loss to Cole Valley Christian.
Gracie Cammann, Bishop Kelly: Went 8-for-14 with two doubles, three home runs and seven RBIs in three games.
Makenna Shamy, Skyview: Threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout and struck out six in a 6-0 win over Nampa.
Lauren Colson, Cole Valley Christian: Went 5-for-7 with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, six RBIs and four stolen bases in three games.
