BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Beau Ramsey, Middleton: Threw a five-inning perfect game and struck out 11 in a 12-0 win over Thunder Ridge.
Jack Swanstrom, Eagle: Went 7-for-14 with six RBIs to lead the Mustangs to a third-place finish in their spring break tournament in Tucson, Arizona.
KC Corley, Centennial: Went 9-for-21 with six doubles, a home run and 10 RBIs to lead the Patriots to a 5-1 record last week.
Preston Wade, Ridgevue: Held Minco and Sandpoint to a combined one earned run on six hits while striking out five to earn two wins on the mound.
Bergan Overall, Kuna: Struck out 12 and scattered four hits in five shutout innings during a 6-2 win over Nampa. He also went 6-for-10 with four RBIs at the plate last week.
Lincoln Mathis, Rocky Mountain: Thew a one-hit shutout and struck out 12 over seven innings in a 6-0 win vs. Central, Oregon.
Parker Harrison, Columbia: Went 6-for-13 with a home run and five runs scored.
Jaxon Wade, Nampa: Threw five shutout innings and struck out eight for the win in a 5-3 victory over Sugar-Salem. He also was 5-for-9 with two RBIs in four games at the plate.
Landon Bushong, Fruitland: Pitched a five-inning, two-hit shutout in a 10-0 win over Cole Valley Christian. He also finished the week 5-for-8 at the plate with two doubles, a triple and six RBIs.
Jahzyon Sylva, Payette: Struck out 15 and scattered six hits in a complete-game shutout during an 8-0 win over Weiser.
Chris Bobrowski, Cole Valley Christian: Went 9-for-10 with two RBIs and two stolen bases, raising his season average to .727.
Trey Martiny, Idaho City: Went 4-for-7 with a double, two RBIs and eight stolen bases.
