GIRLS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK

Ava Bui, Centennial: Won the 100-pound championship at the eighth annual Jaybird Memorial Tournament at Columbia High School with a 6-0 decision in the title match.

Sienna Sanchez-Benavidez, Caldwell: Pinned five opponents on her way to the 107-pound title at the Jaybird Memorial at Columbia.

Charlee Noah, Tri-Valley: Won all six rounds by pin to remain unbeaten and claim the 120-pound title at the Jaybird Memorial Tournament.

Zoe Fries, Kuna: Battled her way to the 138-pound championship at the Jaybird Memorial.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Earned four pins and a major decision to collect the 152-pound championship at the Jaybird Memorial.

Ella Elordi, Eagle: Won all four contested rounds by pin, including a pin in 40 seconds in the 165-pound championship match at the Jaybird Memorial.

Reece Moody, Rocky Mountain: Stayed unbeaten with four pins to win the 235-pound championship at the Jaybird Memorial.

BOYS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK

Dylan Frothinger, Eagle: Captured the 120-pound championship at the Padilla Invite, surrendering just five points in five matches.

Tyler Irish, Rocky Mountain: Pinned four of the five opponents he faced for the 150-pound crown at the Padilla Invite.

Shane Bayley, Borah: Scored 67 total points and beat a defending state champ en route to the 106-pound title at the Padilla Invite, finishing with a pin, a major decision and two tech falls.

Nathan Chappell, Skyview: Entered the Padilla Invite unseeded before mounting an underdog run to win the 138-pound bracket and improve to 9-6 on the season.

Cole Ingle, Weiser: Racked up four pins and a 15-6 major decision in the finals to dominate the 132-pound division at the Padilla Invite.

Jabyn Kemble, Middleton: Surrendered only two points on his way to topping the 126-pound division at the Padilla Invite with three first-round pins, a tech fall and an 8-0 decision in the finals.

Will Phillips, Fruitland: Scored three pins and a tech fall to run away with the 175-pound title at the Buhl Invite, leading the Grizzlies to the team championship.

Trevor Paynter, Homedale: Rode four straight pins to come home with the 113-pound title from the Buhl Invite.
