VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Riley Beck, Owyhee: The Storm closed out the regular season with a sweep of Timberline as Beck totaled nine kills, five blocks and two digs.
Taylor Wirtz, Columbia: The Wildcats swept Bishop Kelly 25-9, 25-17, 25-15 in their final regular-season match, with their senior setter contributing 35 assists, three digs and three aces.
Lilly Relk, Homedale: The Trojans lost a five-set battle with Cole Valley Christian, with Relk registering 24 assists, 13 digs, five aces, three kills and one block.
Katelynn Morrison, Rocky Mountain: In 6A SIC wins over Mountain View and Timberline, Morrison totaled 40 assists and 11 aces to help the Grizzlies earn the No. 5 seed in the district tournament.
Kailey Reeves, Nampa Christian: In sweeps of Marsing and Vision Charter in 3A WIC action, Reeves pounded out 29 kills with four blocks.
Aubree Zimmer, Horseshoe Bend: The Mustangs stayed unbeaten in 1A Long Pin play as Zimmer totaled 24 kills, 26 digs, 13 aces and two assists in sweeps of Salmon River and Tri-Valley.
Aylah Garman, Victory Charter: The Vipers rallied to defeat Riverstone 24-26, 25-11, 25-14, 25-12 with Garman collecting 16 aces and 15 kills.
Quincy Murphy, Skyview: The Hawks swept Meridian to close out the regular season and earn the No. 2 seed at the district tournament as Murphy contributed 12 assists, five digs and four aces.
Sydney Short, Middleton: The Vikings topped Bishop Kelly 25-16, 27-25, 25-18 as Short totaled 14 assists, six aces, four digs and one kill.
Mckenna Chavez, Capital: The Eagles defeated Mountain View in a district play-in game, with Chavez totaling a team-best 18 digs to go with seven kills and two aces.
