GIRLS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Megan Stewart, Middleton: The Vikings’ keeper faced 13 shots, allowing just two goals, including a shutout of Kuna.
Kunie Hirai, Boise: Scored in all three of the Brave’s games last week, totaling six goals.
Campbell Wilson, Rocky Mountain: The junior scored one goal in each of the Grizzlies’ games last week, tying Bishop Kelly 2-2 and Boise 1-1.
Maya Atkinson, Timberline: Contributed both goals in a 2-0 win over Kuna and had two more goals in a 5-1 victory over Borah.
Chloe Sams, Caldwell: Notched a hat trick to lead the Cougars to a 7-0 shutout of Nampa in 5A SIC action.
Aydrie Webb, Owyhee: Scored in both of the Storm’s games last week, getting one goal in a 4-1 win over Sandpoint and one goal in a 2-2 tie with Eagle.
Marisol Stosich, Mountain View: The junior had a productive week, contributing one goal and one assist in a 3-0 shutout of Borah as well as two goals and two assists in a 4-0 win against Centennial.
Ashlyn Lloyd, Fruitland: Recorded a hat trick as the Grizzlies rolled past Ontario 9-0.

BOYS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabe Hernandez, Rocky Mountain: Scored the “goal of the year” against Bishop Kelly, according to coach Bill Taylor. Hernandez finished the week with two goals for the Grizzlies.
Mike Foster, McCall-Donnelly: In a pair of ties with Weiser and Nampa, the Vandals’ goalie faced 18 shots on goal, making 15 saves.
Christian Griffith, Borah: The Lions’ goalkeeper posted two shutouts in three games and allowed just one goal in 240 minutes of action, making 22 saves with one assist.
Nate Lynch, Meridian: The Warriors earned their first win of the season as Lynch scored three goals and added two assists in a 6-4 victory over Capital.
Owen Selby, Owyhee: Helped the Storm earn a pair of wins, scoring the third goal in a 3-0 win over Caldwell and notching the first goal in a 2-1 win over Eagle.
Baraka Dayi, Boise: Kept the Brave atop the 6A SIC standings by totaling six goals and one assist in wins over Ridgevue, Bishop Kelly and Capital.
Jaime Gaona, Columbia: Notched a hat trick as the Wildcats took down Nampa 7-0 in 5A SIC action.
Nathan Compas, Parma: The Panthers remained atop the 4A SRV standings as Compas contributed four goals and one assist in wins over Emmett and Ambrose.
