VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lacey Dougherty, Columbia: The Wildcats opened league play with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-12 sweep of Caldwell as Dougherty contributed 11 kills, three digs and one ace.

Adyson Chadez, Marsing: In three wins against Compass Charter, Payette and Nyssa, Chadez totaled 25 kills with a .364 hitting percentage to go with a 2.22 serve-receive rating, 41 digs and a 47-for-48 serving performance with 11 aces.

Eden Francis, Capital: In a five-set victory over Boise, Francis had 12 kills and eight blocks. She then added seven kills and three blocks with no errors in a five-set loss to Rocky Mountain.

Halle Smith, Centennial: The Patriots finished tied for third at the ThunderBee Tournament in Idaho Falls as Smith racked up 35 digs and 14 assists, including 10 digs in the semifinals against Madison.

Makaiya Gerhardt, Owyhee: The Storm finished second at the ThunderBee Tournament in Idaho Falls with Gerhardt totaling 70 kills, 70 digs, 16 aces and seven blocks.

Ceder Saxton, Cascade: In a 1A Long Pin loss to Salmon River, Saxton had a 92% serve accuracy, an .857 serve-receive average and six digs.

Chloe Hansen, Rocky Mountain: She had four service aces in a win over Meridian, passed a 2.2 (on a 3-point scale) against Madison and totaled 48 kills at the ThunderBee Tournament in Idaho Falls.

Bellamie Beus, Skyview: The Hawks outlasted Centennial 22-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-16, 18-16 to remain unbeaten in 6A SIC play as Beus totaled 29 kills, 16 digs, four blocks and three aces.

Kylie Luna, Wilder: The Wildcats defeated Glenns Ferry 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-15 as Luna collected 30 digs.

Aliyah Meyer, Horseshoe Bend: In a 25-12, 25-9, 25-12 sweep of Council, Meyer had a well-rounded match with 14 digs, 12 aces, 10 assists and six kills.
