SOFTBALL

Allie Gore, Boise: In three wins for the Brave, Gore went a combined 6-for-9 at the plate with two doubles and three RBIs. She also pitched a total of 10 innings, striking out 13.

Aleynah Vega, Mountain View: The Mavericks started the season 4-0 as Vega went 13-for-18 (.722) with three doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs. She also had a slugging percentage of 1.222.

Brooklyn Roadenbaugh, Marsing: Led the Huskies to a 2-1 record, pitching each game in the circle and totaling 43 strikeouts with just nine walks and an ERA of 1.591.

Jorja Crider, Middleton: The Vikings improved to 4-0 with wins over Rocky Mountain and Vallivue as Crider finished 3-for-7 at the plate with a triple, two home runs and five RBIs.

Megan Meracle, Borah: Pitched 16.2 total innings, going 2-1 for the Lions with 36 strikeouts and just five walks and a 0.840 ERA. She helped her cause by going 3-for-6 at the plate with two RBIs.

Alison Pitman, Meridian: Hit the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Warriors to a 7-6 win over Emmett. She finished the week 3-for-8 with a triple, home run and two RBIs.

Lauren Fettic, Bishop Kelly: The Knights had a big week, topping Eagle, Timberline and Owyhee as Fettic went 5-for-11 at the plate with a home run and five RBIs. She also pitched 12 innings, striking out 13.

Wesli Crockett, Parma: Improved to 4-0 in the circle with three victories last week in 17.1 innings pitched with 28 strikeouts. She has a 2.05 ERA on the season.

Lauren Colson, Cole Valley Christian: Helped the Chargers go 3-1 on the week, including a pair of wins in the circle, while finishing 8-for-14 at the plate with three doubles, a triple, a home run and nine RBIs.

Payten Hutsell, Nampa: The Bulldogs opened the season with a 24-0 victory over Columbia as Hutsell went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double, two home runs and seven RBIs.
