2A ALL-IDAHO PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Riglee Peterson
Malad, so., P/SS
The sophomore repeats as player of the year after leading the Dragons to a perfect season. She went 20-0 inside the pitcher’s circle, posting a 0.96 ERA with 147 strikeouts and 23 complete games. She also hit .494 with six home runs and 31 RBIs.

She led Malad to its fourth straight state title and a 23-0 record, and her team outscored opponents by 9.1 runs per game.

Peyton Shook
Nampa Christian, fr., P
The freshman made quite a splash, going 15-3 with a 2.31 ERA and 175 strikeouts to lead the Trojans to a third-place finish at state.
Jordyn Torgerson
West Jefferson, sr., P
She’s back on the first team again after putting the Panthers on her back, going 15-7 with a 1.89 ERA and 200 strikeouts while hitting .563.
Taci Watkins
St. Maries, sr., P
She went 18-6 and led all classifications in ERA (0.78) and strikeouts (321) to make the first team for a second straight year.
Harlie Goedhart
North Fremont, sr., C
She played the whole season with a dislocated kneecap and still hit .633 with four home runs, 33 RBIs and 1.017 slugging percentage.
Hallie Horsley
Malad, jr., INF
The first baseman is another repeat first-team pick after hitting .594 with 21 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. She hit .643 at state for the champs.
Jakobi Nebeker
Declo, so., INF
The shortstop provided the rare package of speed and power. She led 2A with a 1.111 slugging percentage, hit .543 and stole 22 bases.
Quincy Hartley
Nampa Christian, sr., INF
The Dakota State University (NAIA) commit led the 2A level in runs scored (53). She hit .552, cranked four home runs, had 35 RBIs and stole 17 bases.
Beth McClain
Malad, sr., INF
A natural third baseman, she moved over to shortstop for the state champs and made highlight reel plays all season.
Bostyn Combs
Malad, so., OF
The Dragons could always count on their center fielder to deliver when it mattered most. She hit .408 with three home runs and stole 14 bases.
Mekhia Wagner
Cole Valley Christian, sr., OF
The Arizona Christian (NAIA) commit returned from a knee injury to become the 2A WIC Player of the Year, hitting .560 with 33 stolen bases.
Eden Dunstan
Nampa Christian, sr., OF
The Trojans’ unquestioned leader and valedictorian finished her career with a .359 batting average, 30 RBIs and a third-place trophy.
