2A ALL-IDAHO PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Riglee Peterson
Malad, fr., P/INF
The Dragons’ freshman sensation did wonders in the circle, finishing the year with a 24-1 record, 149 strikeouts and a 0.90 ERA for the state champs. She also hit .543, slugged 1.000 and had six home runs, 41 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.

The two-time CIL MVP led all classifications in ERA (1.04) and strikeouts (289) in 128 ⅓ innings while going 16-4. She also hit .467.
Jordyn Torgerson
West Jefferson, jr., P
The two-way threat guided the Panthers to a runner-up finish at state, going 17-4 with a 1.80 ERA and 153 strikeouts while hitting .580.
Jewel Bell
New Plymouth, so., P
The WIC Player of the Year carried the Pilgrims to state by going 15-5 with a 2.27 ERA and 176 strikeouts in 119 innings.
Kaitlyn Pickett

The Dragons’ leadoff hitter got on base early and often, hitting .459 with three home runs and 25 RBIs while slugging .716.
Madi Green

The shortstop provided firepower on a regular basis, hitting .425 while racking up six home runs, 38 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.

The four-time, first-team WIC selection finished her career hitting .521. She scored a 2A-leading 70 runs while slugging .809.

Bear Lake, sr., INF
The shortstop always got the job done for the Bears, hitting .582 and slugging .937 with 37 RBIs and 28 stolen bases.
Hallie Horsley
Malad, so., INF
She saved a host of runs with her acrobatic moves at first base. She also hit .458 with four home runs, 48 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
Savannah Matthews
New Plymouth, sr., OF
A leadoff hitter adept in the outfield and as a catcher, she hit .509, stole 20 bases, scored 37 runs and drove in 21 more runs.
Mariya Hoffner
North Fremont, sr., OF
The Treasure Valley CC volleyball commit was an all-around threat on the diamond, hitting .470 with 26 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.

St. Maries, jr., OF
The two-time, all-CIL selection continued her dominance with a .328 batting average, three home runs and 21 RBIs.
