BASEBALL

Dillon Fine, Homedale: Finished the opening week 6-for-11 with two doubles, three triples and seven RBIs to lead the Trojans to a 3-0 record.

Drake Fullerton, Caldwell: Hit a game-tying grand slam against Canyon Ridge as part of a 6-for-10 week that included two doubles and six RBIs.

JT Penrod, Columbia: Went 6-for-9 with two doubles and seven RBIs as the Wildcats swept three games.

Robert Orloski, Middleton: Threw five, no-hit innings and struck out nine in a 3-0 win vs. Rocky Mountain. He also went 6-for-10 with a double, a triple and five RBIs in three victories.

Kason O’Neil, Kuna: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 11 in a 16-1 win vs. Nampa. The only run he gave up was unearned.

Daniel Kormylo, North Star Charter: Held Horseshoe Bend hitless through five innings and struck out 14 in a 14-0 win.

Ryder Cutlip, Owyhee: Went 4-for-9 with two doubles, a home run and five RBIs in wins over Ridgevue and Emmett.

Dylan Gonzalez, Skyview: Threw a four-hit shutout in a 3-0 win against Mountain View. He struck out six and didn’t issue a walk in seven innings.

Lance Anderson, Borah: Went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a 16-0 win over Vallivue.

Jack Barker, Mountain View: Finished the week 5-for-10 with two triples, a home run and seven RBIs.

Max Vidlak, Fruitland: Threw a complete-game, five-hit shutout in a 3-0 victory against Timberlake. He struck out five.
