Polls close at noon Wednesday. Read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

You can vote multiple times. This is not scientific and is meant to be fun.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Alondra Osuna, Vallivue: Racked up 23 points, 12 steals and five rebounds in a 40-37 win over Ridgevue in an elimination game in the 4A District Three Tournament.

Avery Howell, Boise: Had 10 points, 23 rebounds, three assists and two steals to lead Boise to a 44-36, overtime win over Timberline for its first district title since 2004. A steal and three-point play in the final minute completed Boise’s comeback and forced overtime.

Abbi Roubidoux, Fruitland: Scored 20 points and added seven rebounds and three assists to lead Fruitland to a 45-41 win over Fruitland for the 3A District Three title.

Ruth Heffington, Idaho City: Posted a triple-double of 15 points, 14 rebounds and 10 steals — and added five assists — in a 42-31 win over Idaho City in the 1A Division I District Three Tournament.

McKayla Hart, Council: Scored 16 points in a 53-37 win over Garden Valley for the 1A Division II District Three championship to keep the Lumberjacks (14-0) undefeated heading into the state tournament.

Victoria Ortega, Notus: Racked up 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals to lead the Pirates to a 40-23 win over Liberty Charter for the 1A Division I District Three title.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Porter Larson, Horseshoe Bend: Sank 5-of-7 3-pointers to score 21 points and added six assists in a 62-38 win over Salmon River.

Owen Graviet, Middleton: Erupted for 33 points with nine made 3-pointers in an 81-38 win over Emmett. He finished the week averaging 18.3 points in three wins.

Donovan Jones, Eagle: Racked up 23 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 67-36 win at Rocky Mountain that clinched the Mustangs the 5A SIC regular-season title.

Tyler Shipp, Centennial: Poured in 28 points on 7-for-10 shooting behind the 3-point line in a 78-55 win at Kuna.

Cache Beus, Melba: Posted a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds while adding six assists, three steals and three blocks in a 58-53 win over Cole Valley Christian to wrap up the 2A WIC regular-season title.

Blake Hawthorne, Bishop Kelly: Posted a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 50-42 win over Caldwell.

AJ LeBeau, Timberline: Finished with 18 points and six rebounds to lead the Wolves to a 50-41 win over Timberline in a play-in game at the 5A District Three Tournament.

Hudson Hughes, Ambrose: Scored 23 points on five made 3-pointers in the Archers’ 67-48 win over New Plymouth.

Dallin Criddle, Liberty Charter: Posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 58-39 win over Notus.

Stevie Howe, Emmett: Racked up 20 points, five rebounds and six steals in a 56-52 victory at Ridgevue.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Erika Frazier, Marsing: Scored three pins in less than a minute each to run away with the 106/113-pound title at the Marsing Pod Tournament.

Lizzy Hodges, Capital: Pinned two of her three opponents to bring home the 132/138-pound title from the Marsing Pod Tournament.

Destiney Camacho, Parma: Two first-round pins led her to the 160-pound title from the Marsing Pod Tournament.

BOYS WRESTLING

Jamison Hunt, Capital: The 138-pounder scored two pins in less than a minute to lead the Eagles to the Grapple for the Granite title, the Boise School District championship.

Trent Myers, New Plymouth: Went 8-0 for the week with four pins on Saturday to win the 152-pound title at the Marsing Pod Tournament.

Michael Rose, Homedale: Four pins, including three in the first round, led him to the 195-pound title at the Marsing Pod Tournament.

Troy Olmos, Columbia: Pinned three of the four opponents he faced to win the 220-pound title at the Marsing Pod Tournament.

Salvador Garcia, Ridgevue: Racked up five straight pins to bring home the heavyweight crown from the Marsing Pod Tournament.
