Voting has closed in the latest Treasure Valley Athletes of the Week contest.

Here are the winners. You can read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

  • Boys wrestling: Isaiah Twait, Meridian
  • Girls wrestling: Sammy del Fierro, Timberline
  • Boys basketball: Isaac Mercer, Ridgevue
  • Girls basketball: Cierra Peugh, Notus

BOYS WRESTLING

Kody Rich, Kuna: Rolled to the 138-pound title at the Wiley Dobbs Invite at Canyon Ridge, leading the Kavemen to the team trophy.

Zane Lovell, Nampa: Scored a 12-4 major decision in the finals to win the heavyweight division at the Wiley Dobbs Invite and remain undefeated (12-0).

Jacob Blandford, Middleton: Pins in the semifinals and finals led him to the 145-pound crown at the Wiley Dobbs Invite.

Isaiah Twait, Meridian: Finished second at 170 pounds at the prestigious Reno Tournament of Champions.

Aden Attao, Borah: Brought home a silver medal from the Reno Tournament of Champions, falling 10-8 in the heavyweight finals.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Sammy del Fierro, Timberline: Brought home the 113-pound title from the Wiley Dobbs Invite.

Mia Furman, Rocky Mountain: Took second place at 145 pounds at the Reno Tournament of Champions, pinning teammate Alexandra Garvin in the semifinals.

Reece Woods, Eagle: Led the Mustangs to a third-place team finish at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a runner-up finish at 182 pounds.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Max Gwilliam, Meridian: Notched a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Warriors to a 56-50 win over Eagle.

Joe Reiber, Melba: Averaged 23.5 points to lead the Mustangs to league wins over Nampa Christian and Vision Charter.

Johnny Sugarman, Ambrose: Averaged 18.3 points to lead the Archers to the small-school title at the Pro Image Sports Classic at Owyhee.

Nate Ojukwu, Mountain View: Had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, and added three assists, in the Mavericks’ 60-38 victory at Kuna.

Ashton Robinson, Nampa: Scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 54-49, overtime upset of Vallivue, one of the preseason favorites in the 4A SIC.

Isaac Mercer, Ridgevue: Poured in 24 points to carry the Warhawks to their first win, a 68-37 victory against Weiser.

Carson Atwood, Nampa Christian: Recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Trojans’ 40-37 win at New Plymouth.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Ruth Heffington, Idaho City: Racked up 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 55-34 win over Riverstone. She also had 16 points in a 45-15 rout of North Star Charter.

Audrey Taylor, Timberline: Poured in 21 points and added four steals in the Wolves’ 52-23 victory at Mountain View, a place Timberline hadn’t won since 2011.

Cierra Peugh, Notus: Sank five 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead the Pirates to a 49-46 win vs. Rimrock.

Kendyl Parsons, Payette: Recorded a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Pirates to a 38-34 victory against Liberty Charter.

Kamryn Alder, Emmett: Racked up 25 points and six steals in the Huskies’ 57-56 win at Jerome to open the Jerry Callen Memorial Tournament.

Shae Olsen, Greenleaf: Tallied 23 points, four steals and three assists in the Grizzlies’ 64-25 win at Riverstone.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Notched a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds, and added three steals, in the Mustangs 58-27 win vs. Ambrose.
