Evening kickoff time announced for Boise State’s home game against App State
The kickoff time for Boise State football’s home game against App State on Sept. 27 has been announced as 5:30 p.m. The game will air on Fox Sports 1.
The matchup is the first of a home-and-home series between the two sides, with Boise State traveling to North Carolina for the return game in September 2027. The two teams have only met once before, in December 1994, with the Broncos emerging 17-14 winners in Boise.
The Broncos welcome an App State team to Albertsons Stadium that has endured a shaky start to its season. Following a 34-11 season-opening win against Charlotte, the Mountaineers narrowly defeated FCS opponent Lindenwood 20-13, before falling 38-22 to Southern Miss this past weekend.
App State is entering its first bye week of the season, meaning the Mountaineers will have fresh legs for their matchup against the Broncos.
Meanwhile, Boise State has started the season 1-1, having lost 34-7 to South Florida in the season opener before bouncing back with a 51-14 win over Eastern Washington. The Broncos travel to Air Force this weekend for their Mountain West opener, before returning home for the App State game.
