The skies should be clear when the Broncos return to War Memorial Stadium on Saturday to face the Cowboys, but temperatures could be as low as 14 degrees.

The Broncos survived a wild final minute to beat the Cowboys and clinch a spot in the Mountain West championship game, which will be played at Albertsons Stadium on Dec. 3.

The stakes are high and so is the altitude as Boise State takes on Wyoming at 5 p.m. Saturday in Laramie’s War Memorial Stadium, which at 7,220 feet above sea level is the nation’s highest college football venue.

With a win, the Broncos (7-3, 6-0) can clinch the Mountain West’s Mountain Division and earn the right to host the conference championship game Dec. 3. A loss would give the Cowboys (7-3, 5-1) the inside track to the division title.

Broncos missing several starters

Boise State will be without a long list of players today at Wyoming (5 p.m., CBS Sports Network), including nickel Tyreque Jones, linebacker Ezekiel Noa and edge rusher Demitri Washington.

Neither Washington nor Noa have played since the Broncos’ loss to BYU on Nov. 5.

The Broncos are also without offensive linemen Mason Randolph and Cord Kringlen, kicker Will Ferrin, wide receiver Cole Wright and nose tackle Jackson Cravens.
