You can finalize plans now for Boise State football’s 2019 season opener

Details for the Boise State football team’s 2019 season opener at Florida State were announced Thursday.

Kickoff will be 5 p.m. MT Saturday, Aug. 31, on ESPN at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

It will be the first of seven Boise State games carried by one of ESPN’s networks in 2019. The Broncos’ home games against Marshall on Sept. 6 and Air Force on Sept. 20 will be televised on ESPN2.

Boise State’s remaining four games at Albertsons Stadium against Portland State on Sept. 14, Hawaii on Oct. 12, Wyoming on Nov. 9 and New Mexico on Nov. 16 will be carried by one of ESPN’s networks, but kick times have yet to be determined.

Boise State finished the 2018 season ranked in both the Associated Press (No. 23) and Coaches’ (No. 24) polls with a record of 10-3. It was the Broncos’ 16th 10-win season since joining the FBS in 1996 and holds their place as the winningest team in the country since 2000 with a combined record of 207-41, including a home record of 113-9.
