Soldier Mountain joins Idaho ski resorts and opens this weekend

Soldier Mountain, in Fairfield, will be ready for skiiers and snowboarders starting Friday, according to a press release from Soldier Mountain Ski Area.

The resort is scheduled to be open every day from Friday to Jan. 1 (except for Christmas Day).

Ski resorts across Idaho have been opening as they get loaded with snow.
