Who’s running in the election for Idaho governor? Hear from the candidates

After handily defeating seven Republican challengers in May’s GOP primary, incumbent Idaho Gov. Brad Little faces another slew of opponents in next month’s general election.

Four candidates from three parties are vying to unseat Republican Little, who’s seeking a second four-year term.

The other candidates are Democrat Stephen Heidt, Libertarian Paul Sand, Chantyrose Davison, of the Constitution Party, and Ammon Bundy, an independent.

The Idaho Statesman sent surveys to each of the candidates, and their responses are copied below, unedited. The candidates discuss education and transportation funding, working with the Legislature, abortion and managing growth.

Davison did not respond.
